CLEMSON UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF EDUCATION
Human Capital

Human Capital Education and Development major
Reagan Korinko was one of the first students to join the
major when it started in 2022. She came into Clemson
undeclared, but after exploring a few majors she met with
human capital advisors and faculty, and the idea of starting
with a new major appealed to her. She has enjoyed
building networks and experiencing the workplace
firsthand through her internship at BMW Manufacturing,
where she served as a recruiting intern. Korinko believes
that human capital is a perfect fit in the College of
Education because it is “people-centric” and trains you
to understand the tangible and intangible benefits dealing
with people across industries.

“My biggest contribution to the university is just talking
about my passion and love for it and trying to get other
people to go here. I have nothing but good things to
say about this place. The Human Capital Education and
Development major sets you up on a more direct path for
a career; to me, that was more interesting than just getting
a general degree and not knowing what to do with it.”
